Luol Deng has fallen out of favor with Laker fans because of his huge base salary and because he’s not playing. Is he not in the Lakers plans because they need to develop young talent, or is it because he’s chunky, out of shape, and no longer effective. Laker message boards seem to agree on one thing. It’s all about the base.
